Organistions can significantly reduce their attack surface by leveraging Vault to manage secrets, enforce authentication, and rotate credentials regularly. However, many enterprises struggle with the step before secrets management: finding all of the untracked secrets sprawled across their IT estates.

HCP Vault Radar detects unmanaged and leaked secrets so that DevOps or Security teams can take appropriate actions to remediate exposed secrets. Radar scans for secrets, personally identifiable information (PII) or data, and non-inclusive language. It then categorises and ranks the exposed data discovered by level of risk.

During this session, we'll demonstrate importance of secret rotation, the newly released HCP Vault Radar, and HashiCorp Vault's secret rotation feature. You'll understand the risk of not regularly rotating secrets, including secret sprawl and leakage, and how HCP Vault Radar helps resolve these issues.
