Global VP, Sales & Field OperationsFreddy Alves Vaquero is Global Vice President, Sales and Field Operations at HashiCorp, an IBM company, where he oversees global sales, go-to-market strategy, and all aspects of the customer journey. Before this role, he was Vice President of IBM Security and Sustainability Software, driving the growth of Data Security, Asset Lifecycle Management and Identity Management solutions at IBM. Freddy has held numerous leadership roles across IBM, including international positions in both the IBM Systems and IBM Software divisions. These positions included leading IBM Power Systems for Global Markets, heading IBM Cognitive Systems for Growth Markets in China, overseeing the IBM Infrastructure Division in Brazil and managing IBM Data Management Software operations across Latin America. Freddy's journey with IBM began in Venezuela, where he joined the company as a student before earning his degree in Systems Engineering.
