3Cloud is an Azure pure-play managed services provider based in Chicago, IL. Founded in 2016 by Mike Rocco and Jim Dietrich, 3Cloud has grown significantly both organically and through acquisition. In 2020/2021, with the help of a $250M investment from Gryphon Investors, 3Cloud acquired Applied Cloud Systems (ACS), Pragmatic Works, CCG Analytics, and BlueGranite. Through the acquisitions, ACS brought depth in data services and application development in the Enterprise and Education segments, and Pragmatic, CCG Analytics, and BlueGranite brought an established set of data focused services and a robust Enterprise engagement model. Collectively, the 3Cloud brand delivers value added services across the Azure platform with a particular focus on Data & AI.
