Introducing the HashiCorp Professional Services Program
Today, HashiCorp announced the formation of a new professional services program for enterprise customers. HashiCorp customers are now able to purchase additional professional services packages as a part of their enterprise agreements. HashiCorp has brought on highly skilled individuals to serve on its “virtual consulting bench” who will deliver these services. The purpose of this blog is to explain why we have decided to start offering professional services and explain more about what the program entails.
» Why Add Professional Services?
Over the past 12 months, we have seen large growth in the adoption of our enterprise products. Organizations are deploying our solutions in exciting and complex ways. Our goal is to help simplify and accelerate the adoption of those solutions, especially in the implementation phase of their deployments. Many of these customers have been asking for professional services to be added as a part of their enterprise contracts with us, but we feel that HashiCorp’s best role is to act, as we have been doing, as technical advisors to our customers. Fortunately, we have forged a number of strong partnerships with companies that specialize in the requested services and employ individual consultants who have shown a strong acumen for our products. To best address the desires of our customers while remaining within our area of expertise, we have enlisted these partner consultants to join our virtual bench and deliver services under the guidance and leadership of HashiCorp.
» What Services Will HashiCorp Offer?
At launch, HashiCorp will be offering enterprise customers the option to add FastTrack Implementation Packages for private installations of HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise and Vault Enterprise. Support for our other enterprise products will be available in the future. We designed the FastTrack packages to meet the greatest demand that we have received from customers and to help accelerate the adoption of these products. For Terraform, services will include installation of the private Terraform Enterprise server, creation of workspaces, setting up authentication, and version control system integration. For Vault, services will include cluster creation (development and production), assisting with replication, setting up authentication and secrets engines, and tool integration. Engagements last from four to eight weeks depending upon the package selected. Initially, we are offering these new services to customers located in the US, Canada, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regions. The following partners will be supporting this program at launch:
» U.S. Region
- Good Dog Labs
- Insight
- Ahead
- Nebulaworks
- DigitalOnUs
» Canada
- Arctiq
» EMEA
- ECS Digital
- HeleCloud
» APAC
- Vibrato
» How Do I Purchase These Services?
The Professional Services FastTrack packages are only available to customers engaged in enterprise agreements with HashiCorp. These services are being administered by HashiCorp and leverage qualified consultants through a sub-contract, but the prime contract agreement is with HashiCorp directly. For more information on this, please reach out to your HashiCorp Enterprise Account Manager directly or request to have someone from our Sales team contact you on our website.
