Overview

HashiCorp is pleased to announce that Vault Enterprise has been internally validated to be compliant with OMB Mandate M-21-07 and Federal IPv6 policy requirements supporting the IPv6 profile for the US government and its goal to upgrade to the next generation Internet Protocol. IPv6 is the most updated version of the Internet Protocol (IP) that provides identification and location systems for computers on networks and routes traffic across the internet. 

What does this mean for me? 

This announcement can be treated as HashiCorp’s vendor supplied Self-attested Supplier Declaration of Conformity (SDOC) until we get the certification from an accredited laboratory for USGv6 compliance testing. 

Upon obtaining the validated SDOC from a USGv6 lab, we expect Vault Enterprise will be fully compliant with OMB Mandate M-21-07 and Federal IPv6 policy requirements.
