Learn the tips and tricks for remote development gained from 2+ years of experience.

Now, more than ever, the skill of effective remote working (yes, it is a skill) is an important one to hone. While a small number of companies like HashiCorp have embraced remote-first, distributed workforces, a much greater number of companies are heavily reliant on co-located work.

In this talk, Tsegaselassie Tadesse will explain some of the qualities of an effective remote developer. The qualities highlighted are applicable to any type of engineering role but slightly tweaked for remote engineers. This talk is based his my experiences as a remote developer for 2+ years; gathered from observing and learning from some of the most effective developers he's ever worked with.
