Vault and Boundary - Managing Secrets at Home

Password management comes with the inherent risk of your password manager suffering a data breach. Passwords need to be stored as safely and securely as possible, but how can we verify the safety of our data? To do this, we can use HashiCorp Vault, Boundary, and various cloud provider tools to implement an at-home, zero-trust password management solution. In this talk, we'll look at how Vault and Boundary can be used as a password management solution at home or in startup environments. You'll learn how to quickly stand up an EKS cluster using Terraform, run Vault on a Kubernetes cluster, and implement the protection of Boundary.
