Combating Imposter Syndrome

Learn the techniques to combat imposter syndrome as a software developer.

Speaker: Choice Osobor

Imposter syndrome involves feelings of inadequacy—literally feeling like an "imposter" who does not belong where they are. Its especially prevalent in the software development community, where complex knowledge and skills are hard to master and various levels of competency can be hard to confirm or relatively subjective.

In this talk, Choice Osobor shares her own experiences with imposter syndrom and gives you the strategies you need to recognize and combat this unhelpful feeling.
