As more companies begin to adopt a multi and hybrid cloud strategy, the notion of having a clear network perimeter has slowly disintegrated. Networks are now more complicated and there is less of a clear single entry-point as you would get with a traditional VPN. In this talk, we will showcase, with HashiCorp tooling, how the concept of Zero Trust is a shift in mentality on how we think about security in our environments. The talk will specifically demonstrate how HCP Boundary can be used to authenticate and authorize users to your AWS resources, whether they are static or dynamic.
