Vault integrations with MongoDB, Private Machines, and walt.id strengthen customer security
Three new HashiCorp Vault ecosystem integrations extend security use cases for customers.
HashiCorp’s approach to identity-based security provides a solid foundation for companies to protect, connect, and inspect infrastructure, applications, and data in multi-cloud environments. The three new Vault partner integrations highlighted here extend the HashiCorp ecosystem into even more security use cases.
» HCP Vault Secrets
HCP Vault Secrets is our centralized secrets lifecycle management SaaS offering to store, access, and sync secrets when and where you need them. We are happy to announce a new integration for MongoDB around automatic secrets rotation:
» MongoDB
MongoDB is a general purpose database platform for modern applications. The new HCP Vault Secrets integration enablesr auto-rotation MongoDB Atlas usernames and passwords. This allows organizations to set up regular automatic credential rotation and eliminate high-effort, manual rotations of static secrets, saving significant operational overhead while also improving overall security posture and simplifying compliance.
» Vault Enterprise integrations
We’re pleased to announce one new Vault Enterprise integration from Private Machines:
» Private Machines
Private Machines provides high-performing hardware security modules to protect cloud and datacenter workloads. They have a new Vault Enterprise integration with their ENFORCER tamper-proof secure server for customers who need hardware-backed, FIPS-compliant security. This integration streamlines unsealing of Vault nodes while providing a FIPS level of security for Vault’s critical security parameters, also known as “seal wrap.” This assists with Vault deployment to high-security governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) environments.
» Vault Community Edition integrations
We’re pleased to announce a new HashiCorp Vault Community Edition integration from walt.id:
» walt.id
walt.id provides tools for digital identity and wallet infrastructure. They released a new ID wallet and Vault integration that enables businesses and governments to offer identity wallets to their users and citizens, enabling more seamless user experiences and control over data. The integration allows organizations to securely store and manage keys for digital identity wallets and credential signing, relieving operational teams of this burden and enhancing overall security posture.
