Using HashiCorp Boundary for Identity-Based Multi-Cloud Access
Learn how Boundary can be deployed in a multi or hybrid cloud environment to access infrastructure across different clouds with secure access via fine-grained permissions.
As organizations enter their cloud journey, many are looking at leveraging multi or hybrid clouds for their infrastructure. Although this gives teams great flexibility on where and how they build their environments, it can also come at an overall management cost. Each cloud requires IAM permissions to be configured so that users have access to the appropriate resources. And that's multiplied for each additional cloud you use, bringing with it a new set of rules and permissions to configure and manage.
HashiCorp Boundary
To help ease this management, HashiCorp Boundary can be used to provide identity-based access to cloud services through a single pane of glass. Operations teams can now configure and assign IAM permissions through Boundary for a single cloud or multiple. Users can now authenticate to Boundary and view all of the machines they have access to, whether on-prem or on any cloud that the organization uses.
What You'll Learn
In this talk, you'll see how Boundary can be deployed in a multi/hyrbid cloud environment and how it can be leveraged by users to access infrastructure across different clouds with secure access via fine-grained permissions.
