Announcing General Availability of HashiCorp Terraform Cloud Paid Offerings

At HashiConf US in September, we announced the general availability of HashiCorp Terraform Cloud with a free offering and a limited time preview of the paid offerings. Today we’re announcing the complete set of paid offerings with an easy way to self-select features and plans within Terraform Cloud.

Terraform Cloud users now have several paid and free options. Users can now upgrade to the Team offering (with features to manage teams of users who are collaborating on Terraform infrastructure as code) or to the Governance offering (with features for teams and small and medium sized organizations to create and enforce Sentinel policies to manage infrastructure) Additionally, users can stay with a core set of free capabilities.

The paid features are applied at the organization level and will be available to all users, teams, and workspaces that are part of the organization. Paid features are billed monthly, and can be cancelled at anytime. For more information, take a look at our FAQ for Terraform Cloud pricing.

»How to Access the Terraform Cloud Team & Governance Offerings

To upgrade your organization to a paid plan, log into your account and pick the organization you wish to upgrade from the organization selector dropdown or from the organizations page. Once in the organization, click Settings on the organization level menu and click on the Plan & Billing page:

From the Plan & Billing page you can click on “View plan comparison” to read about the options and select a plan that suits your organization’s needs.

When you click the “Choose” button to select a paid plan, you’ll be able to enter your credit card information and start your paid subscription immediately. You can also read about our paid offerings frequently asked questions (FAQs) here.

»Paid Preview Opt-ins

If you opted into the limited time preview of the paid features that we offered until the end of year 2019 and wish to have uninterrupted access to those features, you will need to enter your payment information and select a payment plan before January 15th, 2020. If you do not upgrade do the paid features by January 15th, your organization will be downgraded to the Free plan automatically.
